Matt has over twenty years experience in investment banking. During his career Matt has worked on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, restructurings and strategic reviews. His experience includes extensive public market transactions (hostile and recommended takeover offers, takeover responses and schemes of arrangement). Prior to founding Allier Capital, Matt was a director in the investment banking division of Citi and head of its consumer, retail and healthcare investment banking practice. He has also managed major transactions in the resources, industrials and financial services sectors. Matt holds an MBA from the AGSM and Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.

Trent has over fourteen years experience managing mergers, acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings, restructurings, and strategic reviews. Trent’s experience includes ASX-listed and private company transactions in both Australia and the United States. Prior to joining Allier Capital, Trent served as a private transactions and investments advisor to a number of successful organisations and high net wealth families with particular focus on the online technology, media, healthcare, and real estate sectors. Trent holds a B.Inf.Tech degree with Distinction and University Medal, graduating at the top of his class, from UTS and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business in California, USA.

Sidney has over fourteen years experience in corporate advisory. Prior to joining Allier Capital, Sidney was an investment banker with Citi and Merrill Lynch. Sidney’s experience includes a broad range of assignments involving large multi-national corporates in industries such as consumer products, retail, teleco, media, building materials, transport and mining. He has worked on some of Australia’s largest mergers and acquisitions transactions and privatisations, and has experience in IPOs and equity issuance markets, bank and debt capital market raisings and capital advisory. Sidney holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland

Nihat has over eight years experience advising middle-market and publicly listed clients throughout Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan. Nihat has worked on a broad range of strategic reviews, valuations and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Allier Capital, Nihat worked as a management consultant with Booz & Company.  Nihat holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Commerce with a major in finance from the University of Sydney.

Sean has over ten years’ experience in corporate finance providing advice to multinational corporations, private equity clients, family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Throughout his career, Sean has had a strong focus on middle market transactions having spent six years at Stamford Partners, a London-based consumer-focused, middle market M&A boutique. He has significant cross-border experience having worked on transactions throughout Europe. Prior to his time at Stamford Partners, Sean was with Deloitte’s corporate finance team. Sean holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Martin worked at Marsh, where he was a senior actuarial analyst. He has provided consulting advice to public and private clients on risk finance optimisation and other risk management matters across various sectors, including financial services, property and construction and not-for-profit organisations. Martin holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance and Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Nick worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in the client advisory services team, where he was involved in strategic capital management transactions for institutional and government clients. Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics from the University of New South Wales.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Andrew worked as a Senior Consultant in the PwC Deals, Corporate Value Advisory team where he valued a range of businesses and assets for transactions, capital raisings and tax purposes.  Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and Bocconi University.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Jessica worked across the Corporate and Institutional divisions of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and ANZ Banking Group, focused on structuring debt facilities for mid-market and institutional clients across industries such as healthcare, retail, property and natural resources. Jessica holds a Bachelors of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Queensland.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Daniel worked as a Consultant in the PwC Deals, Corporate Value Advisory team where he valued a range of businesses and assets for transactions, capital raisings and tax purposes. He also gained experience in the PwC Deals, Debt Capital Advisory team, designing custom securitisation structures and arranging debt financing for government and institutional clients. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney.

Mark previously worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in the client advisory services team where he was involved in debt profile analysis and ratings advisory for institutional clients. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce (International) with distinction, first class Honours in Actuarial Studies and the University Medal from the University of New South Wales.

Catherine has extensive experience in executive support and office administration. Prior to joining Allier Capital, Catherine worked as an executive assistant and office manager at LSI Consulting and Peter R Breed & Partners.

Libby has extensive experience in executive support and office administration. Prior to joining Allier Capital, Libby worked as an executive assistant at Deutsche Bank AG.
