
Matt has worked on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, restructurings and strategic reviews. His experience includes extensive public market transactions (hostile and recommended takeover offers, takeover responses and schemes of arrangement). Prior to founding Allier Capital, Matt was a director in the investment banking division of Citi and head of its consumer, retail and healthcare investment banking practice. He has also managed major transactions in the resources, industrials and financial services sectors. Matt holds an MBA from the AGSM and Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.

Trent is a senior investment banker and strategic advisor specialising in mergers and acquisitions, divestments, and capital raisings. He advises corporate boards, founder-led organisations, and private equity sponsors to unlock value and drive enduring outcomes across a range of sectors, including healthcare and technology.
A recognised leader in the healthcare and diagnostic imaging M&A landscape, Trent has navigated many of the sector’s most defining transactions. His expertise spans the full advisory spectrum—from billion-dollar transactions to bespoke exits, recapitalisations, and mergers. He is known for a nuanced, hands-on approach that combines financial rigour with a mastery of complex stakeholder dynamics to engineer "win-win" outcomes that have unlocked billions of dollars in client value over his career.
Trent earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (2003) and holds a Bachelor of Information Technology with Distinction and the University Medal from the University of Technology Sydney (2000).

Sean has extensive experience in corporate finance providing advice to multinational corporations, private equity clients, family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Throughout his career, Sean has had a strong focus on middle market transactions having spent six years at Stamford Partners, a London-based middle market M&A boutique. He has significant cross-border experience having worked on transactions throughout Europe. Prior to his time at Stamford Partners, Sean was with Deloitte’s corporate finance team. Sean holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Emmanuel has over seventeen years’ experience in advisory and corporate finance in Australia, the UK, Europe and the broader Asia Pacific region, advising domestic and international private equity and the full spectrum of institutional (large multinationals, publicly listed groups) and private clients (entrepreneurs and family owned and run companies). Prior to Joining Allier Capital, Emmanuel has served on the advisory board of an Australian family office, and was an Investment Director (within the direct private investment team) of a US Family Office. Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Daniel worked as a Consultant in the PwC Deals, Corporate Value Advisory team where he valued a range of businesses and assets for transactions, capital raisings and tax purposes. He also gained experience in the PwC Deals, Debt Capital Advisory team, designing custom securitisation structures and arranging debt financing for government and institutional clients. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney.

Kasey joins us from the Chicago office of our global partner firm, William Blair. Throughout her career, Kasey has had a strong focus on middle market transactions across the US and broader Asia Pacific region providing advice to entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, private equity clients and multinational corporations. Kasey holds a Bachelor of Science from Miami University where she studied Finance and Economics and graduated cum laude.

Sam brings over nine years of corporate advisory experience with a focus on middle-market transactions across both investment banking and legal roles. Prior to joining Allier Capital, he was an Associate at MinterEllison in the Private Equity and M&A team, where he advised financial sponsors and corporate clients on a range of mergers, acquisitions and capital market transactions. Sam holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance) from the University of Western Australia.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, James worked in BDO’s Corporate Finance team where he was involved in a broad range of corporate advisory engagements across financial due diligence, valuations, IPOs and M&A for leading ASX listed and private mid-market clients. James holds a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) with a major in Finance from the University of Sydney and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Alex worked as an analyst at Luminis Partners where she was predominantly involved in sell-side M&A and capital markets transactions across a range of industries including telecommunications, energy, industrials and healthcare. She also gained experience in both buy-side and sell-side M&A at Greenhill and Co. in London. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Bristol in the UK, where she specialised in Geographical Sciences.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Liam worked as a Consultant in EY's Strategy and Transactions team where he gained sell-side M&A experience. Liam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, where he specialised in Biomedical Engineering and majored in Accounting and Finance. He also passed Level 1 of the CFA Program in 2022.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Jesse worked as an Analyst in Ord Minnett's Corporate Finance team, where he gained sell-side and buy-side M&A experience. Jesse primarily worked alongside healthcare, consumer and financial sponsor clients within Ord Minnett's M&A team. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies from the University of Sydney, where he majored in Finance.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Max worked as a Consultant in the Valuation, Modelling and Economics team within EY's Strategy & Transactions division. There he built and audited financial models for various financial planning and transaction purposes. Max holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne where he majored in Economics and Finance.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Christian worked as a Consultant in EY's Finance Consulting team where he focussed on post-merger integration and strategic finance transformation programs. Previously, Christian gained M&A advisory experience at another boutique corporate advisor in Sydney. Christian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney and passed Level 2 of the CFA Program in 2023.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Fletcher worked as an Analyst for Auckland-based Northington Partners where he was involved in in equity capital raising and general corporate finance advisory across a wide range of industries including agriculture, technology, property and consumer. Fletcher is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Canterbury, majoring in Financial Engineering and Finance.

Joining Allier Capital as an Intern, Will gained experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A across Allier Capital's coverage sectors and capabilities. Previously, he worked as an Accountant at a boutique accounting firm in Sydney. Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies from The University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Professional Accounting.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Alex worked as an Analyst in KPMG's Mergers and Acquisitions team, where he focussed on sell-side M&A transactions across a range of general industrial, healthcare and technology clients. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics from the University of New South Wales, where he majored in Finance and Econometrics.

Joining Allier Capital as an Intern, Veljko gained exposure to sell-side and buy-side M&A across Allier's coverage sectors and capabilities . Previously, he worked as a Summer Analyst at Jarden, where he gained experience in sell-side M&A and capital markets transactions across the Energy & Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors. Veljko holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.

Prior to joining Allier Capital, Finn worked in Pitcher Partners' Private Business and Family Advisory team, where he provided strategic tax and corporate advisory to a diverse portfolio of private businesses and high-net-worth family groups. Finn holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Professional Accounting.

Catherine has extensive experience in executive support and office administration. Prior to joining Allier Capital, Catherine worked as an executive assistant and office manager at LSI Consulting and Peter R Breed & Partners.

Libby has extensive experience in executive support and office administration. Prior to joining Allier Capital, Libby worked as an executive assistant at Deutsche Bank AG.

Madi has experience in executive support and office administration. Prior to joining Allier Capital, Madi worked as a team assistant at Five V Capital. Madi also brings over a decade of client service experience, including five years with Qantas.
